CANNABIS CULTURE – The governments of British Columbia, Alberta, and Nova Scotia are currently seeking public feedback regarding proposed cannabis regulations in each province. The Liberal government has pledged to legalize recreational cannabis in July 2018.   Over 3,100 people responded to the Yukon government’s Cannabis Legalization and Regulation survey, which is scheduled to be released on November 15, 2017. Manitoba residents are asked to voice their opinions on recreational cannabis in a brief online survey here. New Brunswick released its working group report on the legalization of cannabis in June 2017.

B.C. residents have until November 1, 2017, at 4PM to complete an online feedback form about the provincial government’s proposed regulations – which cover issues such as the legal age of sale, impaired driving regulations, and public consumption – as well as attitudes towards possible federal regulations as well.
