Thriving black market forces Mississauga, Ont. to take another look at legal dispensaries

A year after opting out of legal cannabis dispensaries, Mississauga is having second thoughts. City council originally voted against allowing legal stores on fears the location of businesses would negatively impact the community. Opting out of the process denied Mississauga the bulk of payments that the Ontario’s Cannabis Legalization Implementation Funds doled out to help municipalities finance legalization.
