Two people have been arrested after a sharp-eyed sheriff’s deputy in Nebraska noticed a defect on a cargo van and ended up discovering 1,745 pounds of weed.

At a little before 6 p.m. on Aug. 31, the deputy with the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office saw that something amiss on the van, notes a police Facebook post. He got the car to pull over near the westbound Interstate 80 rest area and soon realized there was more amiss than the unidentified vehicle defect.
