Police officers patrolling Brampton, Ont.’s streets this past weekend were likely surprised to find a loaded gun and cannabis in a vehicle parked in a parking lot located in the heart of the city. After searching the vehicle, that check revealed a loaded .22 calibre revolver and an undisclosed amount of cannabis, according to a police statement. A chart from the Ontario Court of Justice notes that driving a vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available sparks a $175 fine. Parking lots prove a bad spot to have cannabis Although not combining the two seems obvious, less obvious is how many times people have been busted for cannabis in parking lots. Consumption is not allowed in vehicles or boats that are being driven or will be driven.
