Earlier this year, Cellular Goods, a cannabis skincare company backed by David Beckham, became just the third cannabis company to list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). According to the Evening Standard, Cellular Goods is now preparing a marketing push for early 2022. In June, the company partnered with Vancouver-based Willow Biosciences Inc., a biotech company that develops and produces plant-derived ingredients for consumer care, food and beverages, and pharmaceutical products. A study out of McMaster University last year found the cannabinoid was capable of killing the superbug methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). CBG, also known as the “mother cannabinoid,” contains potent antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
