High Times: That’s reminiscent, of course, of Dawn of the Dead, where you have this bizarre, three-cornered war being waged among the zombies and the humans in a sealed-off shopping mall. But, you know… Romero: Yeah… Well, with me, it’s a big “Why not?” I mean, that’s about all I can say. Romero: A lot of it’s pirate copies: sixteen-millimeter distributors who don’t really have a contract with anybody to show the film.
