A shipment of nearly 4,000 glass bongs has been seized by Customs and Border Protection officers at Washington Dulles International Airport, the agency has announced. Take, for instance, the dispensary worker in Shannonvile, Ont., that fended off four would-be robbers by swinging a glass bong at them in 2018. The shipment of 3,738 glass bongs initially arrived from China on October 3 in a pacakge manifested as “gravity pipes.” The package was en route to an address in Los Angeles County, Calif. Lewis-Brant, meanwhile, was back behind the counter for his next shift the following morning. “I’m just lucky they didn’t have any other weapons,” he said. Once word got out about what happened, employees of the store showed up en masse to help clean it up and dispose of impacted products.
