Sado, of Firemans Row, Sutton-in-Ashfield, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (27 February) and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 25 March. Dori Sado, aged 38, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with producing a controlled Class B drug. A large quantity of electrical equipment was also put beyond further use.

Officers forced entry to the property, in Firemans Row, Sutton-in-Ashfield, around 6pm on Saturday after a series of calls from members of the public

The plants, of various ages and with a potential street value of around £350,000, were found in multiple rooms of the property and seized.

A large quantity of electrical equipment was also put beyond further use.
