The emergency rules allowing medical marijuana delivery and curbside pickup are scheduled to remain in effect until August 12 or 45 days after the end of the declared public health emergency, whichever comes first. Under the new rules released on Monday, the district’s seven medical marijuana dispensaries will be permitted to deliver cannabis products to the homes of registered patients. The temporary rules were announced on Monday by Mayor Muriel Bowser and officials with the Washington, D.C. Department of Health.
