Julio Jones and Roddy White are among the defendants named in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by California-based cannabis business Genetixs. According to the suit, the defendants failed to report cannabis sales since March 2021, the same month that Van Beek was fired. The company estimates about US$3 million ($3.7 million) of cannabis was harvested and sold illegally every month since then. Van Beek was fired by Genetixs in March 2021. It is then alleged the Van Beeks then began working with Jones and White to sell the company’s product on the illicit market.
